Glühwein, Glögg , Mulled Wine, Spiced Wine. Whatever you call it, it's one of my favorite winter drinks. It exists all over the world in some form, and for good reason. Red wine is simmered with sugar or honey, and a bevy of winter fruits - apples, oranges, raisins, and sometimes berries, along with warming spices of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cardamom. Different regions have different specific recipes. This particular incarnation is sweet, fruity, and lightly spiced. Also glittery!

Performance notes: These glycerin soaps produce abundant, rich lather! But, as with all handmade soaps, they will dissolve quickly if left in water and not properly drained. Be sure to put these on a soap dish or in a container with drainage!
